A Great Plan:
The Plan of Salvation by Jesus Christ

Men inherited and perform in the mist of the sin nature innate from Adam. This is directly caused by his willingness to go against the LORD's command. We sin because of our inherited nature as descendents from him.

It was for this reason, than mankind needs a blood sacrifice, one of their own. Even in the garden, there was the death of an animal after the original sin was committed. We know this because after Adam and Eve dressed themselves in leaves, the LORD changed their clothing for animal skins. It is obvious that an animal had to die in order to use his skin. Therefore there was a substitutionary death for the sin of Adam and Eve.Even Abraham offered sacrifices to the LORD before the Law was written.

  •   Genesis 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

He also prophesied that the LORD would provide the sacrifice to reconcile mankind to himself.
Genesis 22:8) All men everywhere need a sacrifice in order to live in the presence of God.
This can be referenced to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. It was not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to remit sin.
(Hebrews 10:4) The Old Testament sacrifices were only rehearsals of the job that Jesus Christ would do on Calvary .
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
When Jesus died, He died for whosoever will. Will what? This is the question. During the times when men worship idols of wood and stone the LORD did not reach out to the people that sat in darkness. But because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, He has made an exception.
