doctrine, especially the doctrine or worldly men. You must obtain intrinsic values, if you are to be a true success in today's world. Being easily swayed by anyone that comes along is not the mark or true success and righteousness.


     How can one obtain true intrinsic values for success? One way is to justly consider the values or righteous parents. Their lives are embedded in ours. Another is to be immersed in the life of Jesus Christ, and arise to walk in the newness of Life.

     His values are truly intrinsic. He is the only wise God, and what others do, definitely does not affect His ways and whose is. Jesus is the true example. As He walked this earth He faced many obstacles, and opinions. He received much scorn Yet, God-intrinsic had values, which were not affected when the Jews wanted to throw Him off of a cliff. He simply walked away from those who threatened Him. He did not retract when the religious dogmatic people of the day opposed Him, He was steadfast. When He went to Calvary He was not challenged, but stayed with the engrafted values of righteousness and the word of God. A cup of suffering did not change the intrinsic values of Jesus Christ. He held faithful to the end and in the end, received a crown of life. His
intrinsic ways made Him greater.

career choices. Yet, for the child of God; one must be steadfast, immovable, REAL as some would say; but using a weightier term; Intrinsic. Intrinsic is a word meaning from within, a product of real nature of a thing, essential, not affected by exterior circumstances, inherent; real. Who is the person behind the mask of epidermis, are the words true or fake.  Can a girl of guy trust the masked-"man" to be virtuous?  What is the true meaning behind the smile?  The look is nice, well dressed, can one see the reality in the good, and right, hath one respect for the word of God?
God IS calling each person to be examples in the university and the work place.  He is not necessarily calling you to herald the truth on the job per se but to possess values that will show the glory of God in your life. You must be energized with values of righteousness, dedication, and respect for others, included in goals that will not be affected by your peers. Your values must be intrinsic, an integral part or yourself and not ones of persons of lesser standards.

     The Apostle said, when I was a child I thought as a child. Children do not have intrinsic values; they are very much affected, molded and swayed by others.
