THE WHICH OF WITCHCRAFT.

One of the main mistakes made concerning witchcraft, is not to believe it exist and is powerful.  This was certainly me for the longest time.  As with many "real" phenomina in this mysterious world, disbelief does not change it.   If you are reading this newsletter, you most likely believe in God, but there are those who don't believe in God.  Does this make the Lord non-existent.  Of course not!  Disbelief does not change the fact that He lives.  By this token, (I found out the hard way) that my unbelief did not make this negative force non-existent.

In the Bible we see that the sentence for being a witch was death.
· Exodus 22:18  Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

· Deu 18:10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
· Deu 18:11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
· Deu 18:12  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

· Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
· Gal 5:20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

The concern about witches and witchcraft  is found in both the old and new testament.

We doubt that the Lord God would give attention to things that do not exist.  If it were not a powerful trade, the word of God would have told us so as it did concerning Idols that this thing was of no harm.
